He began as a DJ in a gay club in Paris at the age of 16.
He introduced new wave and house music in the french capital clubs.
Then, in order to play the music he likes, he organised his own parties in nightclubs, being his own RP and paying for his flyers.
With the success, he became artistic director of clubs such as The Queen, in the 90's.
In 2001, he decided to make house music and he made the album Just A Little More Love with contains some radio and club hits.
To answer you question, his success is the result of a life of passion and work. He is well know becasue he is a good DJ and a good producer. His tracks are hits so he is played in clubs.
Nowadays, the secret to break through is to make a great song to be played in radio and in club. This fame will allow you to be invited in clubs for gigs.
Thankyou. That was very helpful.
Most recently my production has been improving dramatically now that I've leanr thow to master cubase 5.
I'll put links on here of my songs to give you an idea of what I do.It's more instrumental but as pumping as anything David does!

Guetta began DJing at the Broad Club in Paris. He first played popular songs, but he discovered house music when he heard a Farley Jackmaster Funk track on French radio in 1987. He raised Gum Productions and released his debut album Just a Little More Love.
